Paper Abstract:
|
This paper presents three perspectives on mobile learning game design that needs to be taken into account when
designing a game to be used within a formal school system. The result is a pedagogical model for how a mobile learning
game could be designed and later used by teachers as a tool within the formal educational framework in Norway, Finland,
Denmark and Sweden. The work is a result of the first phase in the Mobile Learning Environments project who aims as
establishing guidelines directed to policy makers, developers and Nordic school systems concerning the usages of mobile
devices and games as a pedagogical tool. |
